Microsoft Word 2007 Keyboard Shortcuts
When I am typing a Word Document and I need to make some minor adjustments, the last thing I want to do is reach for my mouse. So, I have learned to use keyboard shortcuts that help save time and reduce the headache of having to search for the correct tools.
* Highlight Text - SHIFT+ arrow key {if up and down are used it will highlight entire lines}
* Bold - CTRL + B - A simple quick way to make a word bold is to highlight it and then use this shortcut.
* Underline - CTRL + U - Underline any text that is highlighted.
* Center Paragraph - CTRL +E - If I need to center something on the fly, I arrow up to the line and use this shortcut.
* Cut - CTRL + X - Cut highlighted text or images and place on clipboard.
* Copy - CTRL + C - Copy highlighted text or images.
* Paste - CTRL + V - Paste the text or image that was copied.
* Find/Search - CTRL + F - Allows you to search within the word document for specific text.
* Indent - CTRL + M - Where the cursor is located is where the indention will be made.
* Page Break - CTRL + ENTER - Will insert a page break wherever the cursor is located
* Undo - CTRL + Z - Undo the last change that was made. Continue to use this shortcut and the previous actions will be undone.
* Redo - CTRL + Y - Redo an undone change
