Increase Customer Satisfaction, Without Increasing Labor Cost

Customer Service
Would you like a way to increase customer satisfaction, without increasing labor cost?  If so, you need the ASN.  dscTech, Inc. specializes in alarm surveillance and notification in any industry using our ASN software.

If the power goes out in your area, what do you do?  If your cable tv or Internet service goes out, what do you do?  If you are like most people, you pick up the phone and call the service company to report your outage.  Wouldn't it be nice, if the service company called you as soon as you experienced the outage?

The ASN is designed to handle service outage notification without a single person lifting a finger!  In the instance of a cable tv outage, instead of having several thousand people call the cable company, the ASN could detect the cable outage electronically, notify the appropriate cable personnel of the outage in any manner they choose (i.e. email, phone call, text message, etc.), and call the home or business owner to let them know that the cable company is aware of the problem and sending personnel to correct the outage.  The ASN can even take it a step further and allow the home or business owner to enter a call back number that the ASN will call when the cable service is operational.

Our basic ASN system starts at less than $10,000.  Let your customers know you care about their service satisfaction; purchase the ASN today!

For more information on the ASN, check out the ASN page of our web site or contact Melissa at mandi@dsctech.net.

Tecchies at the Bottom - Importance of Windows Update

Windows
Being in the computer repair and maintenance industry, we see a variety of computer issues each day.  These issues range from non-functioning equipment (i.e. - a fan inside a computer has quit working) to computers so infected with viruses and spyware that they will not even boot up.  Although it is hard to prevent some equipment failures, virus and security threats are a different subject.  One of the easiest actions a computer user can do to prevent virus and security threats is to run Windows Update on your computer at least once a month.

Microsoft releases Windows Updates every couple of weeks to fix bugs in your operating system.  These patches include security updates, critical updates, and service packs and are free of charge.

To install Windows Updates, ensure that your computer has an Internet connection.  Access Microsoft's Windows Update web site by using this direct link to Microsoft Update or click the Start menu on your computer.  The "Windows Update" option can be found in the main start menu or above your program list.

For computer user's running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher operating systems, you can turn on the Automatic Updates option and you will automatically be notified when a new update is available.

Regardless of whether you run the updates manually or automatically, the important thing to remember is to install the updates.  If your computer is not running the latest updates and service packs, it's quite likely your system could be compromised.
