ASN Controllers

Since its creation, the RLJL Alarm Surveillance & Notification™ (ASN) system has been a ground-breaking alarm system in its ability to monitor more types of equipment in more ways than any other system on the market. Many of the options for alarm monitoring and automation are provided by ASN Controllers. These controllers connect to the ASN through the Internet or private network to monitor contact closures and temperatures in multiple areas. Each controller also has the ability to manipulate contact closures, which can be used to reset or activate computer systems, cameras, or any other device.
The ASN Controllers are available in three different sizes, along with some additional options:
- 8 Port ASN Controller: Provides 8 sense contacts, 4 control relays, and optional support for up to 4 temperature sensors.
- 8 Port ASN Services Controller: Uses DHCP to receive a dynamically-assigned IP address, making it a plug-and-play alternative. Telephone companies can use this controller to increase revenue by providing temperature sensing services to their existing clients. This controller supplies 8 sense contacts, 4 control relays, and support for up to 4 temperature sensors.
- 16 Port ASN Controller: Provides 16 sense contacts and 16 control relays.
- ASN Sensor Controller: Can be added to a 16 Port ASN Controller to provide support for up to 8 sensors.
- 32 Port ASN Controller: Provides 32 sense contacts, 8 control relays, and support for up to 4 sensors.
ASN Controllers are a reliable way to centralize all alarm monitoring, whether in a single office or across multiple cities. For more information on pricing and features please email David at sales@dsctech.net, call him at (706)856-3282 or visit the web site at dsctech.net/asn.

 Techies at the Bottom
The future of 3D
In the 80's 3D movies at the theaters became a sensation. Over time they became more and more successful thanks to IMAX and various theme parks that had 3D attractions. Today, with the prices falling on 3D TV's and plenty of cable companies promoting their list of 3D channels, is it possible that 3D is the new HDTV? Well, just check out these latest gadgets. It seems only a few short years ago that these same devices were created with the High Definition addition to them.
FinePix from FujiFilm 3D Camera - Allows you to film movies in 3D, capture pictures in 3D and view these 3D pictures right on the screen without the need for 3D glasses. You can also view the images and videos on a 3D capable TV.
Optimus 3D Smart Phone by LG - Records, displays, and shares 3D content that can be viewed without glasses.
Nintendo 3DS - Provides 3D gameplay with no need for special glasses.
With the prices of 3D gadgets dropping quickly, it is making more people interested in getting some sort of 3D gadget for their home. We will just have to wait to see if this fad sticks around like High Definition has taken hold.
