Employee of the Quarter   David Sayer

David Sayer joined our team in August 2010 as our Director of Operations.  It has been totally amazing the new ideas, markets, enthusiasm and just plain old great business acumen that he has brought to the dsc team in sixteen short months.

We felt that wrapping up an impressive year was the perfect time to honor David with the Employee of the Quarter.

His commitment, dedication, and diligence has opened many new doors and we are very excited about what the dsc team can do in 2012 with the guidance of David.

Larry and I want to thank David for all he has done not just for dsc, but his concern and commitment to our team, our clients, and our community.

Techies in the Middle

 Last Minute Techie Gift Ideas

Are you still searching for that special gift to give the techie in your life? Well we have a few ideas for you!

Monopoly Live - A digital twist to the classic game. You no longer have to worry about the money because it gives you a "Debit Card" and loads the cash for you. And you don't have to worry about people cheating because it watches your every move and if you skip a space it calls you out on it!

3D ANYTHING - Seems like anything you look at can come in 3D now! From phones, TV's, and gaming devices to video cameras that record in 3D!

E-Readers/Tablets - They are very popular again this year! Even if your techie received one last year the ones today include more features than ever before.

Digital SLR cameras - Even if that techie doesn't want to be a photographer, these cameras simply take great pictures. They do have many features that the techie can play with, but if they want to use the camera as a point and shoot then they can certainly do that as well!

UP by Jawbone -If your techie wants to lose a few pounds this might just be the perfect gift! It measures activity and sleep patterns including active and inactive time, steps, distance, calories, hours of sleep, sleep time, sleep phases, waking moments and sleep quality. It connects with your iPhone to help you develop a personalized approach to wellness.

DscTech, Inc Participates in the Annual Palmetto Engineering and Consulting (PEC) Showcase

On December 1st Russ and I were able to attend the PEC Showcase in Greenville, SC. This showcase gave us the opportunity to see many current clients and meet many prospective clients.  The speakers that presented were very interesting and informative, describing how the telecommunications industry is changing every day.  Thanks to everyone that came by the booth and allowed us to tell you a little about our Alarm Surveillance & Notification System™ (ASN).

We would like to congratulate James Thompson from Sandhill Telephone Company, for being the winner of the dscTech Land's End jacket.  We look forward to participating in the event again next year.
