The New Face of dsc

In the past couple of months we have been undergoing a facelift.  We have recently painted our building and have added a new sign out front.  So, in the spirit of getting a facelift, we have decided to give our newsletter a facelift.  We have realized that our newsletters have not catered to the business sector of dscTech family but have focused on what we can do for the communication industry. We have not emphasized what we can do for banks, manufacturers, municipalities, retailers, schools and universities.  Our company offers systems and services (ie,networking, computer maintenance and web design) that will make any company function more efficiently.   We hope the new business edition will be of interest to all our business partners in the months to come.

Techies on the Bottom~What's next for GPS?

Everywhere you turn, cars have GPS in them nowadays. Quite frequently you can see people arguing with their GPS about the direction it is taking them (I only do this occasionally).  So really, at this point, what more can GPS do? According to the TOMTOM© web site, they have recently released LIVE Services that only come on a new TOMTOM® LIVE device. The LIVE Services include HD Traffic™ with real time traffic updates every 2 minutes, current fuel prices, and weather forecasts. Yes, you have to pay a yearly price for these services, and spend a nice little chunck of change for the new device, but just think about the time you could save, not to mention knowing the cheapest gas prices!  It could totally be worth it in the long run. And I am sure that soon enough, TOMTOM® will have competitors as other GPS companies start their real time traffic services.
